Red area rugs are the most popular because red is usually used as an accent color in rooms such as the living room, dining room, or bedroom.  The Anji Mountain Bamboo Co. - Traditional Bamboo Red Area Rug is an exceptional choice that is made of eco-friendly Anji Mountain bamboo.  This rug has a beautiful natural red shade that may vary slightly each time because of the unique and quite natural qualities of bamboo.  You can find this exact rug at many locations including The Home Depot and priced at around $180.00.

Another elegant example of a red colored area rug that can easily be worked into your room décor is the Sphinx Generations Vine Rug 5’3” by 7’6” area rug found at Target.  This rug incorporates red with shades of olive, and beige.  Priced at $350.00 plus shipping if ordered online, this rug is 100% Polypropylene with a cotton backing.  This rug also comes with a rug pad which eliminates sliding and a one-year limited warranty in case you should find any imperfections with the product.

If you are looking for a red bath rug, you may want to start by looking at the Better Homes and Garden 24” by 40” Red Sedona Bath Rug which can be found at Wal-mart.  Priced at around $20.00 this rug contains a super plush and comfortable 100% nylon material.  It also contains a latex backing that is skid-resistant.  The color is solid red but it also has the appearance of different red tones depending on how you look at it.  You will quickly discover that this rug is more than just affordable, it is also quite soft and comfortable under your feet.

Another bathroom alternative that is sure to become the focal point in your bathroom is a round red rug.  The Contemporary Home Chinese Red Round Bath Rug found at Target for just $12.99 may be the one.  It contains a non-slip backing and most people will way that it just happens to be that perfect shade of red that is needed in a round rug especially one that is intended for a bathroom.  This may not be that round, red shag rug you may have had in mind, but it will be just as comfortable under your feet as you come and go from your newly decorated bathroom.

A red kitchen rug may not be the most obvious choice but nonetheless, if you have chosen to go with red for your kitchen rug then you should have it.  The Cannon Kitchen Rug 20” by 30” in Red could just be the perfect solution.  This 100% acrylic pile with rubber backing can be yours for only $12.99 at Kmart.  It is also machine washable so you won’t have to worry about spills and stains.  Simply place the rug in a large capacity washer and let the machine bring it back to its original luster.

Another kitchen rug option is to purchase a red rug runner that can cover more floor space and keep your kitchen floors looking good while also adding comfort under your feet.  A good choice would be the Prismatic Red 25” by 94” Rug Runner from Bed, Bath, and Beyond.  The red brick weave pattern is simple yet effective at bringing more than one color to a space.  The 100% olefin material is even stain resistant so you won’t have to worry about keeping it clean.  Mild soap and water should take care of all accidents.  Priced at $99.00 this rug can cover plenty of space while also adding some much needed color into any room of your home.
